The NYPD is weighing whether to take a page out of Batman’s playbook and equip its cops with the “BolaWrap” lasso gun that’s been making headlines lately.

Department officials held a demonstration this week where officers tested out the crime-fighting gizmos.

The company behind them, Wrap Technologies, says they created the gadgets with the intention of them being used on emotionally disturbed suspects.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a former NYPD police captain himself, came out Thursday in support of the nonlethal device and even got shot with one during a press event.

“This is Marvel meeting reality,” Adams said just moments after getting hit with the eight-foot Kevlar cords, which travel 640 feet per second. “This an amazing evolution in the concept of policing.”
