Michael Rapaport Ripped For Making Joke About Thai Boys Trapped In Cave

“At least let the boys get saved first.”

With people around the world on the edge of their seats watching the mission to rescue 12 boys and their soccer coach from a flooded cave in Thailand, many felt it was not the right time to make jokes about their situation.

Actor-comedian Michael Rapaport learned that Monday after he posted a joke on Twitter:

I haven’t seen someone try to get a Thai boy out of a hole this frantically since I walked in on Kevin Spacey in the men’s room at Chuckie Cheese.

Although the joke brought an immediate backlash on social media, Rapaport did not delete the tweet. And he did not respond, at least publicly, to his critics:

Are you going to crack a joke about the hero that died trying to save them too?
